Cognitive Institute is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Clare Morgan as Medical Director of Cognitive Institute.
Clare brings enormous experience to Cognitive Institute as a well-respected and experienced medical administrator in the private and public sectors. Most recently she worked as Chief Medical Officer and Director of Medical Management for Mater Health Services for the past 14 years. She comes with significant experience leading complex system restructure, clinical governance, developing clinician leadership and improvement in safety and quality outcomes.
Clare commences on Monday 12 April 2021.
Dr Mark O’Brien was the founding Medical Director of Cognitive Institute. Mark is stepping into a strategic consulting role to the Institute, while working on other healthcare initiatives, including being recently appointed the Programme Director of the new Healthcare Leadership Programme at the Saïd Business School at Oxford University.
Dr Mark O’Brien and Matthew O’Brien started Cognitive Institute 22 years ago offering patient communication courses to Australian doctors. The Institute has grown to be an agent for healthcare improvement around the world, and its success has been built on Mark’s insight, talent, and his unwavering passion that people are the foundation of great healthcare.
