Speaking Up for Safety Presenter Training – expression of interest

Cognitive Institute > Speaking Up for Safety Presenter Training – expression of interest

Speaking Up for Safety presenter training

As you are aware, continued, systematic communication is critical for embedding an effective Speaking Up culture in your organisation. One of the ways to continue spreading this important message is through the 1 hour Speaking Up for Safety (SUFS) presentation.

To continue to meet the needs of your organisation, we are seeking your expression of interest for additional presenters to attend training.

Your nominated staff will join participants from other organisations also implementing the Speaking Up for Safety programme. Subject to interest from other organisations, we will host this training at a date, time and location to be advised.

Participants who pass the SUFS presenter training will become accredited presenters of the Speaking Up for Safety 1 hour presentation.

Training details

Duration

Participants must be available for full day training, then subsequent accreditation.

  • Training – two full (consecutive) days
  • Accreditation – up to two hours
Number of participants

Your organisation will need to nominate pairs of trainees (ie. two or four). This allows each pair to practise together and co-present for their accreditation, delivering 30 minutes each of the 1 hour SUFS presentation.

We will organise a small audience of five to ten people for the accreditation.
